My Favorite Flat Boots

Buenos días!!! Este post está dedicado a mis Flat Boots Favoritos. Me gusta que puedan convertirse en booties, mid calf boots y botas altas normales, dependiendo de cómo haya amanecido y cómo las quiera poner, siempre puedo estirarlas, bajarlas, etc... Este look es super relajado, pero sin perder lo "classy". Combinamos los leather leggings, una chompita casi nude, una bufanda con el patrón de Burberry y las botas color cognac. Estoy completamente enamorada del look. No me pude sentir más comoda no sólo porque eran flats. Sino que, los leggings son un buzo practicamente para mí, y cualquier outfit que tenga leggings y botas, es simplemente perfecto para cuando nos levantamos sin muchas ganas de arreglarnos, además de mi go-to piece para cuando no tengo nada que ponerme. Además, la casaca de cuero blanca le da un toque más fresh al look, junto con los lentes Baroque de Prada, elegí cambiar un poco de look poniéndome un Deep Red Lipstick, es un look trés chic Parisienne, fácil y perfecto para un After Hours después de la oficina!

Good morning beautiful! This post is dedicated to my favorite Flat Boots. What I love most about them is that you can either use them as booties, mid calf boots or just as normal boots. Dependind on how you feel like today, your style can change in just a minute. This look is how I would dress down an outfit, what's cool about flats is that they make you look effortlessly well dressed. Moreover, the leggings, which are practically my loungewear, look perfectly put together with the boots, the loose nude sweater, the winter white leather jacket and the Burberry scarf, which fill the neutrals with its pattern. On the other hand, if you want to dress up the outift for the After Hours after office, I recommend you the Prada Baroque Sunnies (if its sunny--->this is important) and a great bag, maybe a big one or a clutch, depending on where are you going.... finally, one last tip: if you want to do a complete makeover, don´t, just put on some deep red lipstick and let the magic begint!

Creepy Old Town House

Seguimos con la larguísima temporada de invierno, por suerte, este día salió sol y pudimos hacer tomas lindas a plena luz del día. Esta vez, nos situamos en uno de mis distritos preferidos: Barranco. Decidimos pasear por el Puente de los Suspiros y recorrer esas viejas casonas, hasta que encontramos una, para mí era linda, perfecta para una película de terror, solo pudimos estar en el porche... que pena que hayan algunas casas tan descuidadas y que son históricamente una reliquia... desde el porche se podía ver el puente de los suspiros, la bajada de piedritas con casitas pequeñas y antigüas, alguno que otro restaurante, y finalmente la llegada al mar. Qué lindo es Lima cuando está todo despejadito y se puede llegar a ver el mar, ya sea si estás en Miraflores o Barranco... Este outfit fue bien casual "chic", perfecto para ir a la universidad o hasta al trabajo (dependiendo del dresscode). Para mí no hay nada más cómodo que unos jeggings, una blusita de gasa y botas. Los lentes de aviador lo hace ver más chic, cuando usen este tipo de lentes les recomiendo accesorios dorados, hacen que resalten más y el look se vea aún más fashion, y lo más importante: sin ni una gota de esfuerzo!

And I still can't get the weather in the winter season, sometimes sunny, sometimes foggy, sometimes you just can't get out of bed... Anyway, this session was located in one of my best (must-go) places in Lima, Barranco. We decided to walk and go through the walkway which goes under the famous bridge called Puente de los Suspiros (The Bridge of Sighs), I've always wonder why the name... maybe because of the romantic days people spent of the Old Society in Lima? ... However, I stopped at the sight of an old town house with an extremely beautiful architecture. You just don't see houses like that anymore so I "had" to stop. Eventhough it was an old and dirty porche, we decided to make the photos there. The most amazing thing was the view from it, the bridge so beautifully painted in the sky and the mildstone walkway with tiny restaurants and bars, and finally the view of the sea... Just incredible. For this outfit, I chose a very loose outfit, comfy but at the same time casual chic. This is my go-to outfit whenever I feel like not trying too hard, but still look great. So the combo was, a loose silky blouse, jeggings and boots (they can be flats). Accessorize it with some aviators sunnies and gold jewelry, you're ready to go! Easy, comfy and still pretty!

Este outfit se los recomiendo a mil! Una blusita, jeggings y botas (pueden ser flats) son lo más cómodo que hay y no se ve para nada descuidado!

The Godfather

Todos hemos visto la clásica película "El Padrino", con Don Corleone y toda la historia de la mafia italiana en EEUU. En esta sesión quisimos imitar la escena y ponernos en el "stage" de la película (versión femenina). Este outfit, tuvo una gama casi bicolor, entre nude y negro. Además nos obsesionamos con los accesorios, fue una "Obsesi-zación" (término inventado por Rachel Zoe)... entre collares, pulseras y anillos, nos llenamos de fantasía. Así que les dejo un tip: Balancear accesorios en exceso, significa mezclar un look casi monocromático más clásico, con texturas pero todas del mismo color y viceversa.... Para mi, un polo bodycon nude y una falda negra mezclado con las panties tupidas negras, son ítems básicos en cualquier closet... Son la segunda opción al Little Black Dress, sirve tanto para un cocktlail o una fiesta en estas noches de puro invierno!!!

We've all seen the classic movie "The Godfather", with Don Corleone and all the old italian-borned gangsters of the time. In this photoshoot, we tried to copy some scenes from the movie, just with the female character, like a femenine version of it. Furthermore, we were obsessed with accessories, that's what I call "Obsessorization" (term invented by Rachel Zoe)... Between the necklaces, bangles and rings, it was all a fantasy of luxe jewelry (or well fantasy jewelry). So, here's a tip, if you want to exceed with the accessories, the look have to be balanced, and choose a more monochromatic palette with maybe two textures max. I think that the whole skirt plus bodycon top and winter tights, are the next option to the Little Black Dress.... so I would recommend to have them all in your closet, just in case there's an event or a night out partying in this winter season... Well, at least for all of us in the south of the world!!!!
