Coming back from the Independant Designers Event, that took place at Barranco. I find myself face-to-face with my computer, and nothing else to say… just a feeling of overkilling tiredness. My day started at 9am, with the Brunch at the Converse Store in Jockey Plaza, followed by meeting after meeting, and finally an event at night. Definitely, one of the most ambitious ones, because it’s a house from Barranco trying to gather all the independant designers from the city. It caught my attention real quick, because this place (old colonial house) has so much to offer people from all over the world, that come here to visit… and mostly, because it’s good to add some fashion scene to the tour guide, as part of our great heritage.

In any case, if I could say more about my city, I would tell people to visit the Palace of Justice in Downton Lima. Not only because of the perception of yourself getting smaller and smaller as you become near it, but because of its prominent and incredibly giant structure. I know now why it’s called “Lima, the grey”, as I stood in the center of the Plaza San Martin I could see all around myself, the grey and distinguished monuments… As time went by, the sky turned into the same colors of the buildings, then I was sure, it was like that years ago and it will still be it, 50 years from now (let’s hope so). It would be so good to change times, and go back and forth through it. As silly as this sounds, I’ll go back to prom, where I know this dress would be dancing with me until very early in the morning. I don’t know if it’s the cream, textured and assymetrical cut or the drape all over it that has me under the spell… Anyway, a blast from the past I cannot change, though, it’s good to bring back good memories and move on.
